I've had several conversations with Karl Frisch and he is caring and knowledgeable about literacy standards and other academics. Based on his handout and his website, this other guy just doesn't know what he's talking about. I'd prefer we not elect another Elizabeth Schultz

You've got to be kidding. No he is not knowledgeable, he didn't go to college, he has no kids, and the only jobs he's had are in policy advocacy. He knows how to advocate for his cause. That's about it.

It’s gaslighting of the highest order to attack Sabio based on political views that aren’t especially relevant to the responsibilities of a School Board member, but gloss over the fact that Frisch is responsible for wasting $60M of taxpayer money on an unnecessary new ES in Dunn Loring that next to no one actually wants - all to ensure that FCPS wouldn’t build a school at a different site that Frisch and his cronies wanted to preserve as a dog park.

It would have been fine to oppose building at Blake Lane. But Frisch wanted to impress his friends by putting the final nail in the coffin by taking money that had already been earmarked for a school in Fairfax/Oakton and reallocating it to Dunn Loring instead.

It’s a giant boondoggle. It means that if a new school is needed in Fairfax/Oakton at any point they’ll have to wait many decades. It means that boundaries for multiple ES in the Marshall pyramid that aren’t even overcrowded will have to be adjusted to backfill Dunn Loring. It means that $60M that could have funded an addition to other schools attended by students in Frisch’s district won’t ever be available for that purpose. He could have held a giant bonfire and just burned $60M and it would have been less disruptive.

The guy is a total jerk, and anyone who gives him another term just because they think his opponent isn’t supportive enough of gun control advocates like MDA is missing the plot. Vote him back into office and you will absolutely deserve the mess he’s already creating for you.

Neither are any of the other School Board candidates. He is, however, trying to allow unfettered drugs into the bodies of children who identify as suffering from gender dysphoria, as a part of gender-affirming care for some.
