Such a bummer trying to watch a relaxing lighthearted show and then getting triggered because Z is exactly like my mom. Imagine growing up when everything you say is purposefully twisted because the other person is so damaged and insecure. I am sorry for what she went through but I hope she never has kids.
Nobody deserves the cruelty that Z publicly inflicted upon Cole at the end of the show. Cole was not perfect. He apologized throughout the series. He might be a doofus but he was a genuine doofus. Z is a very attractive woman. I feel sorry for any man that links up with her. She is has really serious, serious issues.
Yes, I think Cole will probably make a good husband in a few years when he is a grown up. He's just a 25 year old boy now. You could see the resentment that Z had for him, maybe from him talking about Colleen or otherwise being insensitive. He pissed her off and she was done. I can remember having similar bitter, hate-filled interactions at the end of a long relationship. Like the BF could do nothing right once I was over him. She just seemed to get there pretty quickly. She knew for weeks she would not say yes. I still wonder if he was going to say yes!
