I’m not the poster who said Kevin was “horrified,” but did you actually see how he delivered the line? In a charming but vain way? Or are you just blowing smoke out of your a** to be obstinate and ignorant?
I’m the poster who said horrified. That was a bit of hyperbole, but he was also clearly concerned about his looks and aging, in the way pp just described.
OP again of the horrified comment. Just wanted to add that this is one of those little things that makes Kevin such an endearing and surprisingly complex character. At the beginning of the series, he came off as shallow and vain, but then he has consistently surprised viewers with his humor, kindness, and depth. At that same time, he still is kind of vain. Most shows offer shallow characters such that they are either shallow and vain OR they are complex and less physically perfect. It is no accident that now in the 4th season, Kevin is the character who is still really enjoyable to watch. I loved Randall so much in the first season or two, but gosh he has gotten annoying.
Good point. This show does a good job in making them fully human and not caricatures. Yes, Randall is annoying and as much as I sympathize, some anxious people in real life can be so draining.
