This is why we chose FCV DA: https://www.loudountimes.com/sports/tsj-fc-virginia-athletes-to-play-soccer-in-college/article_2c4925ac-111b-11ea-ad63-236901e85fe8.html
Not a fan of how they operate but have to admit it’s an impressive record. If your goal is to play in college
This.
And so does McLean: http://www.mcleansoccer.org/home.php?layout=10683781 Bethesda: https://www.bethesdasoccer.org/pathway-to-college/ FCV is not the only club that can get your kid into college. Clubs in the area and across the nation do it every year.
What about VDA Loudoun BRYC Arlington and MU? The list shrinks at those places quite significantly. McLean and Bethesda also have one other thing in common...you guys can figure that one out - rich families with alumni at top academic schools. Not criticizing, just pointing it out.
You are also looking at kids committing on teams that were established 4-6 years ago. When McLean, FCV, Bethesda were the only real pathway options. That is not where the market stands right now. There are lots of kids spread out at various clubs now. There isn't a single club that can claim a concentration of all the talent from 06- rising 08 moving forward.
