While the judge ruled in favor of the defense in not allowing the video interview of the child of Branden, and Christine Banfield today. All other rulings were in favor of the Prosecution. The judge found NO wrong doing or conflicts what so ever of the Prosecuting Attorney Eric Clingan, and that he would NOT be removed by the court. She also found any motions attempting to suggest impropriety on the part of the Fairfax County police having no grounds or merit and publicly stated as much, and in each motion sided with the prosecution and police. The only wins so far on the part of the defense is that the child's taped interview is not allowed but that she can be called as a witness but in closed video future testimony. Also that police and defense must disclose anything they have not already. This ruling is not damning to the police or prosecution and is considered a standard ruling. So far all the conspiracies brought up by the defense have failed.

May friends and family of the actual victims Christine and Joe feel secure in these rulings and the Judge's public statements thus far, and hope for the justice they deserve for their loved ones, at least when it comes to Brandon and his trial moving forward. [/quote]
