The shade of yellow looks like a banana and the silhouette of the dress contributes to this impression. The other yellow dress she wore on a previous state visit didn't make anyone think "banana!" This one did, and for good reason. Also many of us think the dress could be great in the right setting and with the right accessories. It looks weird here. Similar to her trench coat and purple hat, it becomes this eye catching distraction when you look at these photos like "huh, not sure about this." She's clearly trying to do something here but I don't think it's working.[/quote]
