OMFG.  Immigrants who enter this country without documentation or simply overstay their visas pay billions in taxes.

Even Heritage has determined that "illegals" pay upwards of $7,000,000,000 annually to Social Security.  Then there's federal and state income taxes, sales taxes, real and personal property taxes.  Just.  Stop.  Please.[/quote]

This statistic actually points out how severe the illegal immigration problem is. Note that Social Security deduction is compulsory, money is taken from the paycheck and submitted to IRS by the employer. But what about the non compulsory portion? You think the illegal immigrant is filing a tax return on that? "At least they are paying some", you may argue, but a legal immigrant or a citizen will be paying the full tax obligation. Think of all the tax revenue we've missed because of illegal immigration.[/quote]
