This is a state law.  What part of that is hard to understand?  Why try to create misery for the schools that are responsible for enforcing the law?  Some of you would really benefit from subbing in a school for a few days.[/quote]

Check your reading comprehension.  PP stated that policies would change quickly if admin had to deal with the fallout of half the school being in detention.  This is a state law, not a policy, and school-based admin (and district admin) have no authority to change it.  Try lobbying your state legistators if you really think this law needs to be changed.[/quote]

What happens if they ignore it? I don't see ANY penalities in § 22.1-79.3:1
