Here is one theory re: timing that seems plausible [twitter]https://twitter.com/laurel_jenn/status/1715696860395094495[/twitter] Taking the child out may have been part of keeping her from going to look for mommy, if so.
Maybe, although it's completely ludicrous for anyone, especially someone in law enforcement to think they could pin the stabbing on someone else. The forensic evidence would never support that.
I think forensic evidence is not as cut and dried a science as television would have you believe. Stabbing doesn’t leave gun residue, and the knife was left on the scene. East enough wipe prints and put it in Joe’s hand after shooting him. My theory is still that BB stabbed his wife. Stabbing feels personal and angry, and far more likely done by the husband. Then Joe comes in, finds Christine bleeding, and the AP shoots him. They don’t immediately call 911 back because they want to make sure CB dies.
Can you imagine? With the little girl elsewhere in the house? And that they lived there after, going out, posting on the Gram, etc.? LE has said Joe was shot when Brendan was not home. Are you suggesting he stabbed Christine, left, then came back? Very little time.
DP - I think the timeline has yet to be established, but at this point I'm pretty convinced that the plan was to make Joe Ryan the fall guy, hence the whole story about a strange car in the driveway (a narrative told to police by the au pair) and for the police to arrive to a scene staged to look like the au pair shot someone who was attacking Christine. The plan was that Brendan would have already left for work. I think the au pair panicked and called Brendan and that's why he returned home and then the story started to fall apart.
I agree with a lot of this but I think he was supposed to come back. Calling him, not 911 or waiting outside, etc. but calling and going in sounds like their kooky implausible story. LE used interesting language even the day of so the vibe must have been very off. With him LE and being the "grieving" widower, maybe he believed they would buy the story without much checking? All the coming and going is weird but I can see your point that it supports their tall tale. One Juliana is still telling despite all 3 claims being declared false by LE. No home invasion, stabber was not Joe, Brendan not shooter. They are gonna make them work for it. I also think it was too risky leaving Juliana there alone for too long, Joe was big, fit, martial arts trained and she's a 23 year old "princess." I think Brendan had to come back to manage things after his absence was documented. I wonder if he had been taking her to the shooting range?
