And when you move a LOT of them into one space, folks will turn up to "serve" that market. As WP documented happened on Quincy when building was taken over by dealers and gangs.

Those who qualify for PSH vouchers are not the typical PAYING tenants who have lived in Cleveland Park, Forest Hills, Chevy Chase and Cathedral Heights.

Whole program is a huge slush fund and it may be that these disruptive folks are being used to clear buildings of longtime tenants locked into low rents in rent stabilized buildings. It was SO blatant in 2019.

There was a big MPD presence at The Saratoga again last evening but Black was not arrested there, so, had to be about something else.

I don't see any of this ending well for the neighborhood, at least not anytime soon. Hope to be proved wrong. [/quote]
