LOVE how on a thread about a suicide, people still throw around things like "seek help" to be condescending and rude. Or joke about a poster sounding "mentally ill" as an insult (thankfully Jeff deleted that one).  Maybe consider that you, by using mental illness as an insult, are part of the problem of these poor teenagers and their untreated mental illness that leads to their deaths. [/quote]

+1  People always seem shocked when suicides happen. Bringing mental illness into the light so that it can be discussed openly and other incidents like this hopefully prevented is neither pathetic  nor wrong--it's an important thing to do for our kids.  [/quote]
