She’s had the “basic” obligatory talk at school, but she needs someone she trusts to give her the details about condoms (you’re the person, mom).

Make sure she knows he has to wear the condom, no exceptions (not even one time).  Even if she’s on another form of BC.

She might not know he has to put on a new one, every single time.  Make sure he’s wearing a new, fresh condom, and not one that’s been in his wallet for the last six months.  Maybe provide a box of new ones you bought for her?  (And not just 3.  Get a dozen).

Let her know he needs to wear one for oral too.  Also, teenage boys are um, energetic? Breakage happens in the passion of the moment, so she needs to have lube available to avoid the condom breaking.[/quote]
