DS is taking it right now, said the class is ridiculously easy, and that he doesn't understand how people can possibly fail it. It's day 2, he is already on Module 5.
He’s not really reading it or paying attention to the information then.
The information is boring, the content is outdated. A book such as Personal Finance 101 will be better than this so-called course. I can't believe they teach this material for the entire year. The course has to be re-written.
It is boring to just stare at a screen and read and listen to the videos. It’s like virtual learning all over again. But it’s a graduation requirement. At least it’s over quickly. They really should do away with this.
Self directed epf or the epf grad requirement If you don’t like the grad requirement you need to call the va general assembly since they passed a law making it mandatory I love people being like dis dumb but not having any understanding of where things came from Also eliminating epf grad requirement would be stupid since 34 of 50 states require it for graduation Why do you suppose that is that nearly 70% of the us requires students take a course in personal finance. Could it possibly be because most kids actually need more insight beyond jimmy you don’t get an allowance but you have 100k debt now but you’ll be okay. Trust me not every kids parent has the finance talk with their kid even wealthy people. I once had a very well off student tell me his parents told him the family budget was none of his business. And then I had a middle class kid whose parents struggled but it was because they sacrificed some financial security to live in the more affluent area so he could attend the school. Something he had no idea but helped him to be more mindful of how his family spent money and also how sometimes he could just be like you know I don’t really need to ask my folks for that
