She’s the grownup, but not “selfish”? We need to teach these young women especially that they don’t have to do what they don’t want to do. It sounds hyperbolic, but so many of us were told to never say no, to put up and shut up or we were terrible - and it ended up in abusive relationships, workplace harassment, dangerous situations, harmful places.
