[/quote] But how does it happen for my kid, if - I am not initially part of English language culture, though I am relatively well versed in it; - I am in a somewhat of a cultural vacuum - there are cultured people from my old country but they aren’t much of a influence on my kid, and there is no local cultural scene really, and if there is, I am not part of it.
