He may get further due process, but may still ultimately never return to the U.S.  It's quite possible that there will be a rehearing on his deportation hold to El Salvador because it is a far different country than it was in 2019 (from a gang perspective). Everyone agrees that if the government follows the laws and gives this man due process it may ultimately mean he is lawfully and legally deported to a country that is not El Salvador, per his protection order, and is not PRISON. Yes. [/quote]

Whether he remains in prison is up to Bukele if the order of protection is lifted. If Bukele decides under El Salvador law that Garcia remains there (as an El Salvador citizen) what can the US do?  That would be consistent with the Supreme Courts ruling.[/quote]
