Right, but do you carry it with you 100% of the time? Is that going to be a new requirement that everyone has to carry ID all the time? And if they aren't then they get hauled off to somewhere to be held until they are shipped off to wherever? That seems kind of, I don't know, gestapo-ish. I thought we were for personal and nationwide freedom. That doesn't sound very free to me.[/quote]

Eh, there is literally no way a trump administration would get this sort of national ID and enforcement system in place during his term, no matter how much they talk. They’ll go for low hanging fruit to deport-tons of migrants, asylum seekers, etc. are traceable already, no need to stop randos asking for “papers.”  But yeah, if you can’t produce an ID at all, that’s kind of a problem.  People leaving their ID at home is not the same thing as not having one to begin with.[/quote]
