But let’s face it - you really didn’t have high expectations for SJC. No one did. Elitists here routinely dismissed them. “Some good players but no real depth,” they said. Folks mocked SJC for their past lax records on these very pages. Now you say people expected more from them?

Others (maybe you?) boasted off-season that their teams would run their leagues. Never heard that coming from SJC nation.

Sure - they would love to have some losses back. But overall it was a good year for the program. SJC set team records by beating BI and Visi and now have a DCSAA trophy in their school case. But they will go into next year believing everyone is counting them out.  And that’s exactly where they want to be. [/quote]
