Yeah, I don't understand--the one actual parent of a Sidwell student said the last couple of weeks was a complete turnaround and the kids did great.  It was a tough year all around but I'm guessing Sidwell kids did relatively well like hey always do.[/quote]

Agree.  The doubtful posts are clearly from the Ivy obsessed trophy hunters who are probably jealous their kids did not get into Sidwell so they need to bash it.  My kids did not go to Sidwell but to private schools in another state.  They were very well prepared for college and I have no doubt the Sidwell students are as well.

Also, 10 acceptances is a small sample.  It’s the kids who put it on Instagram.  My overachiever would never have put her acceptance on Instagram, whereas my lower achiever would in a heartbeat.  It’s not a reliable measure.[/quote]
