Whelp, seems there’s a problem: https://thenationalpulse.com/analysis/the-medias-matt-gaetz-source-joel-greenberg-just-pleaded-guilty-to-making-false-pedophilia-allegations-about-his-opponents/
Nice try. How does it feel to be a defender of this sick dude?
I would be very concerned if my friend was being accused of pedophilia by someone who has made false allegations against someone else for pedophilia, and is not facing serious charges, and is being offered leniency for offering up someone else The guy who lied once is now being trusted as a source on another? If your husband was being accused of rape by a woman who lied about another man raping her, you might get it.
Do you think prosecutors take plea deals based solely on the word of the criminal making the plea? Or, now hear me out, do they take the word of the person taking the plea when there is corroburating evidence as well?
I seriously doubt any sane prosecutor would make a plea deal without corroborating the details of the info given and making sure they can get a prosecution based on the info gotten in exchange for the deal. Otherwise the deal is completely worthless.
