Republican Trey Gowdy is saying there's NO reason why the killer cop hasn't yet been charged and arrested. Why won't any of their Democrats say this?
Plenty of Democrats have said this, including the mayor of Minneapolis.
Maybe they are awaiting autopsy results to confirm what actually caused the man's death? We are assuming that the cop kneeling on his neck killed the guy but if it turned out to be a heart attack, stroke or OD...what then?
Then they release the cop. Turn the tables... what would be happening?
You want people to be thrown in jail for murder before a murder has even been confirmed? Obviously, they did an investigation quickly enough to warrant their firings. Now they are building the criminal case. But you can't criminally charge a person with murder until you know for a fact that the guy was murdered. Justice doesn't work that fast. That's the way lynch mobs work. Give the system a chance to work before you flip out and burn down your whole danged town.
This guy disagrees....hint: he’s had some experience arresting people. https://www.foxnews.com/media/george-floyd-derek-chauvin-should-be-arrested "I want you to just think about it in reverse, Bill," Williams said. "Suppose it was a citizen that had his knee on the neck of a police officer and that police officer died. That citizen would be arrested right away. This man [Chauvin] should have been arrested right away. And I expect in the near future that he will be arrested." "There was no need for this police officer to have his knee on this man's neck," Williams said. "And one of the things that I've been able to research and find out is that Chauvin, this police officer, the 19-year veteran of that police department, he's had numerous police misconduct complaints, but he knows the rules and regulations out there on the street."
