Is it some kind of insult or disrespectful transgression to tell someone that they need to have their dog on a leash? Why do people get so angry and defensive?
Entailed snowflakes don't like to be confronted with their entitled snowflakiness. It makes them have to confront the fact that the world includes other people besides themselves. Like, how dare others.
The kind of person who would unleash their dog in a public place is exactly the kind of person who would go berserk if you called them on it. They’re special and entitled and their dog wouldn’t hurt a flea. Until it does. Unfortunately, I as a white woman wouldn't ask someone to leash their dog because I would assume that person is selfish and crazy or volatile.
My experience, too. I might take a photo surreptitiously and share it if necessary, but unless the dog was coming at me, I wouldn't engage.
