NP - Smashing a racquet IS an automatic violation.  The issue is that the ump had already chosen to give her a formal warning for coaching, so the penalty for racquet abuse was larger.  Had he privately said something to her (or let it go entirely), the racquet smashing would only have received a warning, not a loss of a point.  [/quote]
