This is what I think. I don't think she wanted to marry him. It's interesting to see the people here who think she wanted his money or to marry him when she tried to escape, was brought back by Albert's people, tried to leave again, and then was also crying at her wedding. And then people say she should have known how he was. It sounds like she DID know how he was and was forced to marry Albert anyway.

Women sleep with him because of who he is. He is homely and mentally damaged. Monaco sounds like a terrible place full of the small-minded. [/quote]
