Lots of parents that send there kids off to yale and harvard and columbia are a little surprised and disappointed at all the drinking and puking.   You think these places are more special and different than they are in fact.   All great schools but they are still full of puking undergrads like all the rest.[/quote]

If this isn't apparent to you, you are lost.  Harvard and Yale both have endowments above $30B+.  Columbia isn't even worth $10B[/quote]

Ivy parents rarely criticize other ivies because it’s not unusual see their family members attend different ivies.  As an example, when the pandemic hit, it hit Harvard students just as hard as it hit everyone else. Many Harvard interns and graduates whose jobs were rescinded were crowdsourcing internships and jobs from parents of their school. The crowd-sourcing google doc made its way to Columbia parents by way of a Columbia parent who also had a kid at Harvard. Ivy parents might work together - but they don’t bicker over who is number #1. The PP touring Harvard , Yale and bashing Columbia has no ties to any of these schools. [/quote]

+1. Real ivy parents are better than that. Also they are most likely not unemployed who stay on DCUM 24/7 and ready to take a jab at Columbia whenever wherever they can :) [/quote]
