You are attributing the right thing to do with people who put themselves in this position by not doing the right thing. Why are you assuming his parents would call her parents and then her parents just said "meh not gonna file a report for 12 days"? Seems like they really are going to lengths to get her picture out there, get the story covered and trying to guilt his family into talking, but they dont care enough about her because they couldnt get their adult daughter to come home after the police incident?
