Thoughts about this one? $899,000, 3BR/1.5BA, 1510 sqft https://www.redfin.com/DC/Washington/1025-4th-St-NE-20002/home/9894874 Look at the virtual tour for the full effect. There's a small kitchen, a utility meter just inside the front door that's certainly a look, and it's like they brought in a painter and said, "Cover it all in cheap white paint!" They even painted the stair treads white! Oh, and what's with the cord stretching halfway across the refrigerator, or the baker's rack that's halfway over the fridge? What I can see of the floors isn't in great condition, either. I suspect this won't move quickly at the price.
Don;t like this one at all. I have a bunch of things I hate t see in DC rowhomes and this one has a bunch of them. 1. All white. They destroyed the character of any exposed brick or original woodwork. 2. See through kitchen cabinets 3. W/D in kitchen.
1. Did they paint the brick? If not, what does wall color have to do with the fact that you like brick. Also, paint is cheap and easy. Don't be one of those people who says they won't buy a house because you don't like the paint color. That's crazy talk. 2. Agree. And the color is pretty bad as well. Very contractor grade from a different era. 3. Agree. Plus it isn't full sized and makes me wonder why. Does a full size not fit?
