Not bashing anyone. WS and Arligton are comparable. Arlington and FCV are not. The argument that WS is a few years behind Arlington and FCV is not true. A few years behind FCV..yes. A few years behind Arlington..no. That's what I'm saying.

Combined results of U14/U15 age groups in the fall (W-D-L):

FCV:       19-4-3
WS-MD:  16-3-2
ARL:       13-4-13
WS-VA:   2-4-17

Call it what you want - years, levels, whatever.  They are definitely behind.

2 wins out of 23 games is struggling.

If it's because they've mismanaged their rosters, that's on them, but making excuses is not the way to attract and retain top talent.

I'd stay quiet Arlington dad. Your U15 team has won 5 games, none against winning teams. And your U14 team has only beaten two teams with a .500 to winning record. Across two age groups that is not exactly "just behind" FCV.

Again, I'm not an Arlington parent, and if someone said they were "just behind" FCV it definitely wasn't me.  The results show that at these age groups FCV and WS-MD are very competitive, Arlington is holding it's own, and WS-VA is not very competitive.   It would not be accurate to say that Arlington is just behind FCV.  Given their location, size of their player pool, and access to fields, they have the potential to catch up at some point, but right now I would say that Arlington is still far behind FCV, but that WS-VA is far behind Arlington.
