I envy you that you’d respond this way.  It can be a PTA or it can be some other school activity where there are a lot of parents involved, and it can also change over time depending on the personalities involved, but it’s not fun when you summon up your energy to volunteer only to encounter a group of parents who do their utmost to freeze you out. Oh yeah that’s the other fun thing about certain PTO moms… they either ignore or are totally nasty to other parents doing one time volunteer jobs. I remember one of them straight up yelling at parents who had volunteered at the end of year party, as if those parents were their employees. Like who cares if the stupid beach ball game doesn’t go perfectly Karen, the kids are having fun. [/quote]
