It can be a PTA or it can be some other school activity where there are a lot of parents involved, and it can also change over time depending on the personalities involved, but it’s not fun when you summon up your energy to volunteer only to encounter a group of parents who do their utmost to freeze you out. [/quote] +1 It didn't happen to me, but I have seen this happen. I only volunteered when they reached out. They were happy to have people step in to help then, but if anyone offered an idea, they were shut out.[/quote]
