Jews thought they could count on unwavering support from Americans but college students have seen that Israel is drunk on power, gives a green light to illegal settlements, and is relentlessly murdering Palestinian civilians, including thousands of children.  If you do not realize how this has permanently soured younger educated Americans on Israel, you are deceiving yourself.  Zionism was once viewed as noble; now it is completely seen as toxic.  This is not going to change, so American Jews will have a choice to make as to whether they wish to be accepted in mainstream American society or despised just as much as the child-killing Israelis.  Sorry if that seems unfair but that’s the new reality. No pontificating by right-wing pundits trying to turn Jews into Trump supporters by pandering to Israel is going to change it. [/quote]
