All the Common Core standards say is: this is what you need to be able to do/know [i]in order to be at grade level[/i]. If you can already do it, do the Common Core standards require teachers to teach you that anyway? No. If you're nowhere near being able to do it, do the Common Core standards require teachers to teach you that anyway? No.[/quote]
