New Yorker here. I love AOC. She is an incredibly gifted politician. If she were a man, I would think yes.

Here’s her answer:

“What’s funny is they assume my ambition is a title or a seat. My ambition is to change this country. Presidents come and go. Senate, House seats, elected officials come and go”.

A living wage is forever, workers’ rights are forever, women’s rights, all of that, and to a finer point to your question is that when you aren’t attached, when you haven’t been like fantasizing about being this or that since the time you were seven years old, it is tremendously liberating”.

She wants to “make decisions from a place of how are we going to change the country”.

Oh man, I truly believe she means every word of that. Whatever office she runs for, I think it will be because she genuinely thinks she is the person for the job. She simply won’t run if she believes there’s someone better. She really does want what is best for Americans.

It boggles my mind that almost half this country thinks Trump, a man who lives in a golden tower and born with a silver spoon in his mouth, represents them more than this woman who came from very humble roots and knows what it is like to struggle. [/quote]
