The IAC athletic directors  are preparing for a new IAC (or the formation of a new league) which doesn't include GP. If Prep is "voted out" or voluntarily joins the WCAC, the Potomac School will join the league as a replacement, this has been discussed. Landon doesn't control the league, they are just one vote.

I agree that the IAC without Prep is less desirable but its the new reality. Prep has no business playing a school like Saint Stephens or even Episcopal when it is 3x the size of them. As you mentioned, the Hoyas already have natural rivalries with GZ, SJC and GC. Prep would do more than just fine in the WCAC, they would be a strong addition to the Catholic league.

Prep can still play Landon or STA in non-league contests if the schools choose to do so.

I think the earlier point about tuition is valid.   Prep is in line with the IAC, not the WCAC in terms of pricing.  That’s a big factor.  [/quote]
