I am one of those people losing their jobs due to the foreign aid freeze. My work saved babies. Now it is gone and babies will die. Is that enough for you to feel more than “meh” for them? How about for me?

DP. It is always terrible when friends are laid off. But this is not a thing that only affects federal workers! On the contrary, many of my private sector friends have been laid off multiple times in recent years. It is stressful and awful.[/quote]

Your claim of indignation for " violation of the US Constitution and norms"  sounds awfully sanctimonious given that everyone down at USAID in the DC offices CHOSE to keep collecting a paycheck all during 2023/2024 while Blinken violated the Leahy law by continuing to send weapons to Israel while they sniper shot toddlers, starved 100,000's of children and dropped mega bombs on women and children cowering in tent villages....

Yes, that was you ... cashing your pay check every two weeks for 24 months, while your employer knew that Israel was deliberately using starvation as a weapon of war and that continuing to send the weapons violated US law - not to mention the " humanitarian beliefs and values" you now claim Trump/ Mush are attacking by shutting down USAID.

You continued to go to work every day al smug in your Virtue signaling - you went along to get along and now you want want people to defend your " right " to that continued gravy train.

Many Dept of State and USAIS employees are 2nd/ 3rd generation US Gov't Brats/ Nepo babies and are exactly why Americas resources have been sent overseas for decades- it's your culture--- well it's up
