Out of spite, I think Ds should hang back for a few elections at the federal level. Let the Rs turn the US into the hellhole they desire. Then we can revisit the value of government regulation and government services. Maybe they need to feel the pain first.

Why do over 70% of Americans feel like the country is moving in the wrong direction if the Democrats were doing such a fantastic job? They have held office for the past 12 out of 16 years. Yet those 51% are told "nope it's bad, it's all Biden/Harris fault" and they believe it.  My point exactly.   Not sure why explaining facts is condescending.  Some choose to learn and understand, others choose to believe blatant lies.  So they got what they wanted by believing those lies
