This was what the IS told the parents to do. Why the IS couldn’t run his concerns up the chain himself is unfortunate. It required the parents who hold a lot of power to speak up. [/quote] The zoom meeting was the second to last event in a sequence of events that took months, and hundreds of hours of effort by multiple parent groups. The petition was the last. And 400+ parents would not have just signed the thing had they not been provided the information to their satisfaction that something this disruptive was necessary and nothing else remained to be tried.
