There is plenty now.  Everyone I know who wants to vaccinate their children was able to secure a spot this week.  It was maybe tricky for about 36 hours, and now you have plenty of options.

Where is there plenty? At some random clinic in Alexandria? Our pediatrician office is out for now (limited initial supply) and county clinics are booked up.

Now, I don’t feel the need to spend hours on the internet searching for the soonest available appointment like I did for my elderly great-aunt back in the winter, my kid can wait a few days. But to act like the vaccine is readily available to anyone who wants it right now us a bit disingenuous IMO.  [/quote]

I went on cvs website, found and booked appointment in 2 minutes.  Went to appointment, no one else there, shot done 90 seconds after we walked in.
