Apparently they are waiting for State of Maryland approval before they can move ahead with those.
Their lawyers are also adding on to the already lengthened liability waiver. I mean come in it was only a 2,000 kid sample of children that tried the vax plus the control group never got positives plus it’s not a longitudinal study over time of new mRNA vax on pre-pubescents.
Which could have been done long before this? C'mon, don't act like you didn't know the approval was coming. Everything should have been set and ready to go the minute they got the green light. Instead, it's like this is some unexpected turn of events.
Im surprised it got approved, though it has a lot of leeway for why.
I’m not surprised that no one, no entity is mandating it.
It is not FDA approved. It was authorized for Emergency Use.
“No entity is mandating it” because it literally JUST got approved, but nice try.

There is plenty now. Everyone I know who wants to vaccinate their children was able to secure a spot this week. It was maybe tricky for about 36 hours, and now you have plenty of options.
There is no reason to wait.
I’m busy. So are my kids. We’ll check in with the locations 5 mins from our house next week or two. Am not driving all over the dMv after school rush hour for an experimental shot so my kid can enter an indoor pool.

Go back to Parler. The adults are talking.

Where is there plenty? At some random clinic in Alexandria? Our pediatrician office is out for now (limited initial supply) and county clinics are booked up.
Now, I don’t feel the need to spend hours on the internet searching for the soonest available appointment like I did for my elderly great-aunt back in the winter, my kid can wait a few days. But to act like the vaccine is readily available to anyone who wants it right now us a bit disingenuous IMO.

I got the link to book, but when I put in my kid's name and click verify it just tells me that no appointments are available. I figure I'll try again in a day or two. At the clinic today, they told me I wouldn't get the link for a few days so I wonder if the system is buggy.
I had the same experience. We got our first shot today and I received an email a few hours later so I tried to schedule the second shots. For one child it said registration cannot be found and for the other child it just said there were no appointments. I’ll try again in a day or so.
