Read her statement.  She's complaining about going to a therapist 2x/week and a psychiatrist 1x/week.  And she's very upset that she wasn't allowed to go out and get her hair and nails done during COVID.   But all of these horrors that she's complaining about happened under the professional conservator, not her dad.  She hasn't done shows in years.[/quote]

Sure, i hope I'm wrong, and as someone said, tons of pop stars flame out without anyone watching them and if that's what Britney wants, there's a case to be made for allowing her to do so.   But no one is going to be able to gauge competency if she won't let them evaluate her, and that's what Britney really doesn't want.[/quote]

Uh, yes, we do.  Those of us who are legally allowed to by our licenses, at least (e.g., psychologists, social workers, psychiatrists, sometimes counselors).

A competency evaluation is a different process, although if it's any good it would include interviews with her regular therapists.

Also, she's protesting having to see a therapist located in a high visibility area, which is a completely reasonable protest.  She shouldn't have to be photographed coming out of therapy in tears (which is not uncommon), FFS.
