If you are a high school sophomore you are pretty upset right now. If parents are upset they are upset for their kids.
Nobody is playing soccer for 6-12 months. Newsflash: if you are a HS senior and can’t have prom or graduation you are even more upset. Everyone is upset right now. Your kid isn’t special. Even less so, without the DA patch now.
6-12 months? Are you crazy! No way will they shut down okay for that long.
It’s a really good chance. College football(lot more money vs all of travel soccer) is a big question for the fall. This really will not be back to normal till spring 2021 with many clubs folding. Each state will open on its own. Virginia could keep school closed for the fall and North Carolina could open. This is why ECNL most likely will try expand clubs within a state. If you get 4-8 clubs in a state they can play each other as their state opens.
+1 I don't know who all these people are with their heads in the sand. But, I assume you also were one of the people realizing DA would be closed many, many pages ago before the 'official' announcement. It's better to consider the possibilities, prepare for the worst and hope for the best.
