Turns out 'the best he could' is far below the minimum standard of a decent human being, much less the President.

I don't get this arguement - that somehow we should reduce the demands of the job because we elected someone incompetent.  No. The job requirements are the job requirements - the President simply isn't capable of meeting them.

Is the language abusers use. "If you just didn't make me angry I wouldn't hit you." Trump is not the victim here. It is not our responsibility to refrain from criticism in order to keep him calm. Criticism comes with the job - it is HIS responsibility to remain calm in the face of it.

As for what I want: a President with a minimum level of normal human compassion and understanding. I expect that all of people, and certainly of my elected leaders or those asking for my respect.[/quote]
