It was probably hard to feel euphoric at his age (without drugs) after all the success he had, especially after a long MN winter. I wonder if he had seasonal affective disorder? The sad thing is his demise was probably a result of his fame and performances for the fans doing the splits. I don't get why people close to him didn't know or do anything about it until it was too late, unless he was avoiding getting treatment for whatever reason.
Are you kidding? If he was addicted to pain medication it was a result of a physical ailment this man wasn't partying hard and using drugs. Do you know anything about Prince, a highly religious Jehovah's Witness. There were songs from his early career, darling Nikki etc. that he wouldn't even perform anymore. Dude was not out drinking and drugging.
I bet this is true. The problem with drugs that are opiate based is that it doesn't matter if you take them for pain or because you are partying. Your brain chemistry changes and you need the drugs or you will go into horrible withdrawal. This is also why there is a huge heroin epidemic in our country. Heroin is morphine. It is very sad that Prince died this way. The one benefit would be for people to recognize how many people die everyday from oxy pulls or heroin. My relative died from heroin and she started with pills. It is a tragic epidemic in our country.
