Lebanon is about Iran showboating to the Arab states that they are the real protector of Arab states against Israeli aggression. It’s a way to embarrass the gulf states. All of that oil, all of that money but zero leverage or powerbrokers that can challenge Zionist/Us hegemony and aggression in the region. The governments in Jordan, UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar are the biggest losers in this war. They gained nothing but humiliation and embarrassment from Iran, Donald Trump, Israel, Kushner.
Regional winners Iran, Turkey, Iraq and Syria. Israel and US neoconzoinists are living in Jan 2026. April 2026 is a much different world thanks to Mr Trump. Let’s face it. Iran’s demands are for the most part facts on the ground. Unless you want to invade Iran you can not change any of it. Israel is very lucky Iran is not requiring Israel to give up it nuclear weapons, enriched material, long range struck missiles, etc. it would be only fair for Iran to demand the same that Israel has demanded of them.
How is Iraq and Syria winning?
The only winner if there is any is the Palestinians because they know who the Israelis are and the rest of the Arab states are naive and sitting ducks In the long run, I only see mass exodus and bad days ahead for Israel. They are really underplaying the damage in Israel to not freak out the population but eventually, the right wing Vs left wing conflict in the Middle East will bear its wings and the US political landscape will change dramatically in 2028 that pro Israel candidate may be a red line for voters. Netanyahu is causing generational tears and I don’t see how it can repaired unless drastic measures are taken like ruining democracy in America and Israel in favor of autocracy and I don’t put it past him to want this. Trump wants to run again in 2028 and at a Jewish Hanukah event at the White House, Mariam Adelson (his biggest Jewish donor) also repeated this “joke”
