Anybody with half a brain cell and object permanence would realize that this exact same argument can be flipped to apply to 2020 and 2012 and 2008 and…. “The voters resoundingly rejected the GOP! The Republicans DID reach out to Dem voters.  Trump's first term generated a ton of job growth for African Americans.  The GOP is now completely fine with gay marriage.  The old GOP was all about offshoring and illegal immigration to keep wages down.  The new GOP now wins with middle and working class voters who used to be Democrats.  Have Democrats displayed that same flexibility?  Or should we just assume that the margins will always stay razor thin and we'll win our fair share of elections no matter what?[/quote]

Sugarpuss, the GOP isn’t “completely fine with gay marriage”. I’m very sorry to break this to you, but they are actively working to overturn Obergefell. They are moving their way through the lower courts trying to get back in front of SCOTUS to put an end to gay marriage.
