You can hold on to the hope that Trump will turn it around, but at this point anyone paying attention is aware that this presidency has so far been a failure
I miss the Biden years, when the President was much less visible. I find it exhausting seeing Trump on tv nonstop.

Native Ohioans? You mean native American Ohioans?

Seems crazy to us after all the Ukraine flags we’ve waved. But it’s true.
Anybody with half a brain cell and object permanence would realize that this exact same argument can be flipped to apply to 2020 and 2012 and 2008 and…. “The voters resoundingly rejected the GOP! Every single voter flipped the lever for Dem policies! The GOP is arrogant and out of touch with the entire electorate! They’ll be out of power forever! They’d better start figuring out what went wrong and reaching out to Dem voters, the only voters who matter!”
The Republicans DID reach out to Dem voters. Trump's first term generated a ton of job growth for African Americans. The GOP is now completely fine with gay marriage. The old GOP was all about offshoring and illegal immigration to keep wages down. The new GOP now wins with middle and working class voters who used to be Democrats. Have Democrats displayed that same flexibility? Or should we just assume that the margins will always stay razor thin and we'll win our fair share of elections no matter what?
Sugarpuss, the GOP isn’t “completely fine with gay marriage”. I’m very sorry to break this to you, but they are actively working to overturn Obergefell. They are moving their way through the lower courts trying to get back in front of SCOTUS to put an end to gay marriage.
Here’s the thing- you can keep lying about what republicans want, but the facts are the facts.

Why would we want Ukraine to continue in a war they can't win? Democrats don't want Trump to end that war because it would be a big win for him. He might even get the peace prize. Voters didn't vote for revenge but to right many of the wrongs of the Biden failures. Bush and Obama imposed quotas and Tariffs on the Chinese so this is nothing new.
I can help you get out of the cult. I can help you make a plan.
Likewise!
Nah, the only people in a cult are the ones that voted for a guy who said Haitians were eating pets. The angry ones despite all their winning because they have to rely on lies and pretzel logic.
Trump is a master persuader. Democrats always take him too literally, and they always lose.
The pet-eating remarks just drew attention to the fact that the Biden administration forced many tens of thousands of Haitians on small town Ohio, where those Haitians proved themselves to be terrible neighbors, constantly crashing cars they drove without licenses, sometimes with fatal results for the longtime residents of those Ohio towns. Only AWFL (affluent white female liberals) believe that Haitians make desirable neighbors. Trump force Democrats to assert that obvious falsehood, and the voters got the message. Dems will force third world immigrants on vulnerable American communities just to make themselves feel virtuous. No-one cares about Haitians' skin color. But they do care about the fact that they are unskilled people from a failed country who practice voodoo. Ask the Dominicans how they feel about their Haitian neighbors. Every time a Democrat whined about Trump's "lie" about Haitains, Republicans gained ten votes.

The issue is that they ascribe those ( democratic) polices, that they like to:… republicans.
Harris told us exactly what she would do, and voters didn’t believe her.
Trump ALSO told us exactly what he planned to do ( aside from magically fixing the price of everything day 1)
But he told us he planned tariffs. He told us he planned to get revenge on political rivals.
He told us he wasn’t going to support Ukraine.
And voters didn’t believe him.
So I don’t know how you win with an electorate that is immediately and unfailing credulous with whatever republicans tell them and completely unwilling to believe democrats.
There’s a message here for us. There’s a reason people don’t believe what we say. It’s that we lie, mostly to ourselves. We insist that middle and working class Republicans are “voting against their own interests” because we imagine ourselves to be the party of compassion and competence. But income inequality has never once decreased under Democrats in our lifetimes. We deny that we’re the party more favorably disposed toward illegal immigration. Is that credible? We deny that we are the party of LGBTQIA+ indoctrination in schools. Is that credible? We have to be honest with ourselves. If we can’t even do that, we shouldn’t be surprised that voters don’t believe us.
100% accurate.
WTH are there so many fake Dems on this site now, who all sock puppet?
This is pure propaganda, folks. Stay alert.
🙄
Opinions that disagree with Democratic leadership orthodoxy are not “pure propaganda,” but the fact you view even the mildest criticism of the Democrats as heresy is yet one more reason we lost.
DP.
This, 100%.
The Democratic evangelical fundamentalists here can’t accept this truth.
Lots of dickheads posting “ we” this and “we” that.
No one here with a functioning brain thinks you are apart of “we”. Whether that means you are posting from the MAGA far right or the idiotic far left. You bag-of-dicks are not a part of the democratic “we”. F off.
The only REAL Democrats are committed to illegal immigration and trans folks while simultaneously refusing to admit they support those things. Anyone suggesting Dems adjust their policies to appeal to more voters is not to be trusted. With this kind of policing, Democrats will get purer and purer, but with a smaller and smaller group of voters.
Show me exactly and specifically where those things were part of Harris's platform or in her campaign rally speeches.
We get it, she was pretending otherwise on the campaign trail.
She said she wouldn't have done anything different from Biden.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:The preference of voters is now and has been for a while … democratic policies.
