Link to a story or account of the cheating.  No one thinks that kids are lying.  We all think you're the one lying, since you keep asserting that things happened without providing any proof.  Yeah, I know you'll just insist that there are numerous links in the thread.  Or you'll post something that proves that rich kids are doing test prep or something.  You claim there's proof.  Post it right here and now.  Indicate exactly where they specifically talk about cheating.  [/quote]

You are confusing posters. I never said “cheating”.

Affluent families pushed their kids to do test prep - using actual test answers that were unethically obtained and shared (breaking NDA).

You still haven't provided any proof of anything.  Please cite a news article or something reputable showing that actual test answers were used and NDAs were broken.  Likewise, please cite something showing that cheating was a reason that they changed the admissions process.  I have read things indicating that the school board was afraid that affluence lead to an unfair advantage, but I haven't read anything specifically about cheating.  [/quote]

People posting stuff on a message board does not equal proof.  You can't keep citing anonymous posts on dcum as proof of anything.  You still haven't anywhere posted an actual news article from a reputable source directly stating any of the things you've claimed.  Once again, post right here.  If you can't post a link to a real news article corroborating anything you've claimed, then you are de facto admitting that the proof does not exist.

Oh.  I get it now.  The problem is that you're functionally illiterate.  The TJ student paper was about cheating on midterms within TJ.  Not at all germane to the discussion and not addressing Quant-Q cheating.  Another few links were people saying that they were concerned that test prep writ large conferred an unfair advantage.  Again, the link was not at all germane.

Not when test takers signed an NDA stating that they would not disclose questions from the test and the company that makes the test does not reveal questions to outsiders and markets the test as one that can’t be prepped.
