But if they already had a long-standing plan that the kids would return to the UK on September 20 and he did not allow that to move forward, then her next move to is to file a complaint under the Hague Conventions (to which UK and US have a bilateral treaty on parental custody).

My guess is that his lawyers advised him to keep the kids here in the US, as there was no return date to the U.S. already decided by the couple prior to the divorce filing. So it would become difficult for Jonas to force a return to the U.S. outside of an agreed upon custody arrangement.

I'm convinced his family is manipulating him behind the scenes. They already "lost" one brother to the UK via Priyanka (who is ridiculously wealthy), so they decided to fight Sophie on this as she has less resources. [/quote]

I think that was a rental they lived in while she filmed Citadel and spent part of Covid lockdown. I don't think they own it or still are in it. They have a 20m mansion in Encino that I think is their main home, and then I believe own an apartment at the Four Season in New York, plus I think Priyanka still owns multiple homes in Mumbai. I do not believe they live in London at all at the moment, and none of her family is there.[/quote]
