[/quote] Yes, in fact, I think fashion in NYC used to be more interesting and unique before the internet and everybody seeing looks on the internet and mostly buying stuff on the internet. There used to be a lot more unique shops and boutiques in NYC -- vintage or with little-known designers. And of course sample sales. Many of those have sadly disappeared.[/quote]
