How is this even open to interpretation? SJP’s own dating life is even more impressive than her character’s.
SJP had natural charisma and a charming personality and just exudes happiness and positivity, and people are just drawn to people like that. Apparently a lot of women resent that. It’s mind-boggling.

Utterly untrue. Women had style, just not style that fit within your narrow brand parameters.
We all went to sample sales and had options from every designer, plus vintage. As for hair...
Women were allowed to have curly hair that wasn't blonde. Shocking for you, I realize.

I mean people...it's a show.

Below is DCUM's favorite look - a refined classical beauty, who opens her legs only three times for reproductive purposes only.
She really doesn't look very sexual, at least not more sexual than Kim Cattrall character. No one accused KC of being ugly or not pretty enough for her dating life. And if you meant that SJP herself looks very sexual, that makes no sense either. Her clothes are not sexy per se and some choices are straight up goofy.
I do understand that her everlasting smile and her dolling up can confuse some men that she's generous in bed![]()

Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote: Carrie would be good looking in NYC. Her background would be more of a problem than her appearance. Women in NYC aren’t that good looking. They tend to be thin and wear expensive labels. But compared to women in other cities, they aren’t that attractive. I moved from a flyover city where I was probably considered average and received an incredible amount of attention from men in NYC, including successful men. Friends from this flyover city would visit and would experience the same thing. Part of it was that men in NY are more aggressive, but it was also that the competition was lacking. Go and ride the NY subway around...people aren’t that attractive in NY.
People aren't that attractive anywhere. Most people in all cities are overweight and dumpy
